Community Kids

CommunityKidslogomainAt CBC all volunteers in children’s ministry are background-checked and have received training to ensure a safe environment. We want your child to learn God’s Word and have fun doing so!
Below you will find more information on our schedule and processes for Community Kids.

Airplane-NavySchedule

During the adult Sunday School hour at 9 am, Community Kids has Sunday School for children from infancy- 6th grade.  In Sunday School we follow The Gospel Project curriculum, a Christ-centered chronological Bible study.

During our Worship Service at 10:00 am, Community Kids offers Kids Worship for children from infancy-3rd grade.  In our Kids Worship we follow Explore the Bible curriculum, an expository, book-by-book Bible study.

Airplane-NavyRegistration

When you arrive for your first visit, a member of our Connections Team will help you get your child checked in at the Community Kids Desk. There we will collect some information from you. Please be sure to tell us about any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs your child has at the time of registration.

Airplane-NavySecurity

Any time a child is checked into a children’s ministry program, identification stickers will be created for the parent and the child. These stickers display a unique security code, used to match children with their parents at the end of the service. The child sticker should be placed on your child in a visible location. The parent sticker will be need to be presented during pickup.

Airplane-NavyCommunication

Occasionally we need to reach parents during the service, and we will attempt to do so via text. If you receive a message, please head to the children's ministry area where a volunteer will assist you.

Airplane-NavyDropping Off

Please make sure your child is wearing his/her ID sticker in a visible location and all belongings are clearly labeled. If you have any instructions or concerns please let the volunteer know when dropping off (bottle-feeding or potty training instructions, allergies, etc).

Airplane-NavyPicking Up

Parent ID stickers are required to collect children at the end of the service. If you happen to misplace your sticker, please visit the kids’ check-in desk where a volunteer will help you.

Airplane-NavyAccommodations

A nursing room and a fussy baby area (with live-stream of the service) is available for parents in Classroom A of Building 1.
