What is a Stitch-a-long? It’s a way to engage our hands and hearts together in worship during the Advent season. For 4 weeks, beginning November 30th, we’ll symbolically “light” the candles of Advent, as we work through the pattern. You’ll be able to listen to music using the CBC Advent Spotify playlist, work on memorizing and meditating on Romans 5:1-5, spend time in prayer, etc all while you stitch!

Anyone that wants to participate can register and receive the free downloadable pattern, a beginner's cross stitch guide, and be added to the group in the church app. Participants in this group can share encouragement, prayer requests, cross stitch questions, or even progress photos of your project. It will be very informal, but hopefully encouraging to each participant.

Sometimes the holidays aren't as happy as we wish they were. There are many reasons for this including the hectic pace of the season, expectations, financial strain, unfulfilled hopes, loss, and relational challenges. 

The ladies of CBC are invited to join us in the 4th-6th grade classroom every Monday in November as we prepare our hearts for the joys and difficulties the holidays can bring.
