Orange Park Fall Festival: CBC family, we have the opportunity to "Go with the Gospel" by taking part in the Orange Park Fall Festival again this year! The Festival will be on Saturday and Sunday, October 17th-18th from 10 am to 5 pm. Please consider donating individually wrapped candy (no chocolate or nuts) for our volunteers to hand out during this outreach into our community. A basket for donations will be available in the lobby starting this Sunday. We also need volunteers to work the booth; a sign-up is coming soon! For more information, contact Rebecca Brown.
College & Career Singles Bible Study: College & Career Singles, join us for our fall Bible study in the book of Ephesians! The study meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Craigs.
Baby Bottle Drive: Join our College & Career Singles this October as we partner with First Coast Women's Services to give, pray, and serve the unborn and their families in our community! Starting Sunday, October 4th we will have a baby bottle fundraiser. You can pick up an empty baby bottle in the lobby, fill it with change or cash, and return it no later than October 25th. There will be prayer guides (along with a list of service opportunities) available at the baby bottle station so you can be praying for specific areas related to abortion, and prayerfully consider how you can serve in advocating for the unborn. On Saturday October 24th, we will have a drop-in baby shower at the Lesley's home, to give FCWS mothers love and support. Lastly, for all men interested in serving as a counselor to men at First Coast or who would simply like to gather and pray, there will be a night of prayer and discussion at the Lesley's home on Friday, October 30th. Check this week's announcement e-mail for more information!
Text to Give: CBC family, due to some recent and helpful changes with our church management platform, we now have a "Text to Give" option through Pushpay! For a one time gift you can text "cbcorangepark" to 77977. As many of you are already aware, we also have online giving available for both recurring and one time gifts. We are very thankful for your faithfulness in giving! Some other new features and improvements (including a Community Bible Church app!) will be introduced over the next few months, so be sure to check your e-mail regularly for those updates.
What's Next?: If you have been visiting Community Bible Church and would like to learn more about some next steps to get connected to CBC and its ministry, join us for "What's Next?", a brief (15-20 minute) orientation that will take place on the last Sunday of every month in between services. It is informal and questions are welcome! If you drop by and decide you are interested in learning more about membership, you can visit the Connection Desk to sign up for our next Exploring Membership class.
Community Groups: Community Groups will begin again this Sunday, September 20th. If you are interested in joining a group please stop by the Connection Desk on Sunday morning! We are also offering a virtual group option for those who are not comfortable with gathering in person. You can access the virtual group here.
Every Square Inch: We praise God for providing the grant that has enabled us to begin building our new worship center, and we appreciate your continued faithful giving.
